A profoundly changed Molly strives to make amends to people she wronged not long ago, and in this, blunders onto help for Becky.
As a way of repayment, the slaves all contribute to a special gift for Josiah, a gift of their love for him and understanding of an important part of his past. Along the way, bonds tighten among the family, as master and slaves all grow together …
Josiah Love and Justice Volume IV Bound in Love edition by Lucas X Black Literature Fiction eBooks
This book follows the same as all of the others. Starting off where Book 3 ended. If you haven’t read 1-3 do not read this review because it’ll spoil it for you. It’s the night of the races and already there’s a tension in the air when some of the participants recognize one of Josiah’s slaves.
One of Josiah’s slaves is assaulted by another’s, Andrew,s, drunken slave. Who then ends up in the ER because she drank too much.
The next day, Marcus and Cathy begin their punishments for having raised Anita the way they did which allowed her to become the ruthless, non-caring, shady attorney she became. Simon was not happy with his role in punishing his in laws and Anita but, in the end, did what needed to be done.
Work continues on the farm with an expansion between Josiah’s and one of his slaves properties.
More slaves are welcomed into the family, a couple who’s welcome there anytime and one is taken in for training when her Master needs to leave the country and cannot take the slave with him.
The real world starts to come into play in this book.
Molly’s suspension is over and will soon find out her fate at the clinic. Leigh’s vacation is up and she must also return. Josiah must decide what he will be doing himself. Continue on as is or retire to the farm. Astrid’s boss wants to meet with her.
Molly surprises all when she asks for a vote on her fate and is not surprised that they vote against her and leaves quietly. Leigh, being sick of dealing with others in their practice, resigns as well. Both walk out the same day.
Josiah tries to reconcile the relationship between one of his slaves and her parents and instead receives insight into her life growing up and finds out very disturbing news about her sister. Josiah being such a good man, cannot let that go and sets out to help in any way he can. Making his slave love him even more.
Josiah is given a huge surprise from his slaves that makes him break down. It’s something that means so much to him and keeps him close to his memories of his father. He realizes just how much he is loved by his family of slaves at this very moment.
As I came to the ending of this book I became sad knowing there was only one book left to the series. I’ve come to thoroughly enjoy watching Josiah’s family grow and become closer.

Josiah Love and Justice Volume IV Bound in Love edition by Lucas X Black Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Wow...I truly do not know how to pot into words how phenomenal this series is!! All I can say is if you have not checked out Josiah and his family you really should. You will not regret it at all.
'Wow' Lucas Black, you have me glued page after page gasping 'feck in he'll' to 'no way' with 'holy feck' to 'laughing out loud and shaking my head' good thing it hasn't gotten me saying 'Phillip Steen out loud, and fast' LOL! I'm enjoying this series.
Another ending on edge. Mr Black is getting good at this. Can't wait to see what a waits Becky this time. She is in so much trouble. I am amazed the family setting of the Master and slaves. There is envy among the slaves, but no jealousy sharing the Master for the night.
Josiah' Love and Justice Is a fantastic series. In Josiah lV you will meet new characters along with old friends.
This book had some funny parts and some very hot scenes.
Like all of Mr. black's books you get pulled into the story from the beginning and feel like part of the families.
I could feel every emotion these characters felt and walked right beside them.
One thing I really like about this series without giving anything away. I really enjoy that Mr. Black doesn't hold back, I have learned so much from this series I have more respect and understanding about the M/s relationships.
If your looking for a great read, this is the book for you. I highly recommend this book and the whole Josiah series.
This fourth installment in the Josiah Love and Justice series is more of the same fine writing we've come to expect from Lucas Black. The characters continue their personal growths and achievements, lovingly guided by Josiah. While the original members nurture and care for each other, they wholeheartedly embrace their newest members, fostered by the tenderness and love Josiah shows all he welcomes into his family.
He's forced to make some hard choices, dispense some heavy punishments, but all are the better for it. Marvin, in particular has some difficult decisions, but his path enriches the group as a whole.
One of the most touching moments, indicative of the absolute love they feel for Josiah, occurs when they present him with a special gift. It's a tribute to this whole series that we feel such true joy and an understanding of just what this means to him. It's a lovely scene.
The Master/slave dynamic is explained so richly and in such detail, that even those new or not as knowledgeable about that lifestyle will have a better understanding of it. Always hot and authentic sex scenes are part of what makes this whole series so readable. So pull up a comfy chair and let Josiah tell you about himself and his family. You'll be glad you did.
WOW! What more can I say about Lucas X. Black and his Josiah's Love and Justice Series, that hasn't already been said? If you are not reading this series, then you are truly missing out. Mr. Black has a way with his writing, that brings you into Josiah and his slaves world. You feel the emotions that each of the characters feel. There were times that I could feel each lash as I read. This book is not just about a M/s relationship, but about the love Josiah has for his slaves.
This book introduces us to some people from the past that have had an impact on a few of the slave's lives. They have to learn to work through the wrongs that have been done to them and others. Will we see them grow together more and all become a complete family? I don't want to give anything away, but trust me you won't be disappointed with this book.
Thank you Mr. Black for opening up the world of M/s to us through this story. The love that the slaves have for Master Josiah is beautiful. I will definitely continue reading this series and I am looking forward to the next chapters in Josiah and his slave's lives.
